Sniper ZT 5-27x50 FFP Scope Side Parallax Adjustment Glass Etched Reticle Red Green Illuminated with Scope Mount

I have had the scope for about a year and a half now and have used it a lot. The Scope and all the perks that go with it are good. It’s a nice scope that holds zero good at tracks good. Glass is pretty clear but I have found over using the Scope and many different situations that it does not block out glare. I hunt a lot around sun down and right into the West sunset. I have had several times now with the sun setting and I could not see the animal I was hunting because of the glare. The scope just does not block the glare. Harsh sunlight and you’re in trouble. I have had a hard time with this. Mostly all Burris Scopes and I’ve never had this trouble. So it’s a nice looking scope yeah but at sunset sundown hunting in harsh sunlight. You can forget it..

Comes in a very well padded box, I mounted aligned and lapped scope rings it came with. Looks great mounted on my rifle. Tracking is good, can't wait to see how it holds zero. This is my second scope from Texas precision optics, so far so good!

Got it zeroed in on 3 shots! Next morning took 3 more shots all three on a quarter at a 100. Its mounted on my 6.5G. It literally rides with me all day everyday! We run thousands of acres of cattle and crops, always taken care of the pigs and yotes!! The clarity and just performance of this unit is awesome! Last coyote was around 180 yrds! And it didn’t disappoint!! Ill be buying another for my Remington M700 7mm in a couple wks

This is the second scope I have purchased. They both have held their zero through thousand of shots fired from a 308 and 223.

Love to show and will but not at home at this time. Had a few bumps trying to mount and adjust. Then had to order a cheek rest as after new mounts and new picatinny rail all was much higher to rest and fire. But all in all it great best optics I've used and easy of use is very comfortable. Thanks to Sean for the fast and easy fix to my problems and will 110% pass this to friends and relatives.

Very happy with this scope. Bought this 5x27 to replace my 4x12 Vortex Crossfire on my 30.06 Just as clear on 27 power as on 5. The parallax setting is accurate for yardage and makes for quick guesstimates out to 300 yards for range when focused. Will buy again for my 6mm Remington.

Delivery was in about three days, packaging was excellent, if three is a drawback it would be that the scope covers don’t fit as tight as I would like, had it out yesterday, and preformed excellent!

First I bought a long scope. 27x hit the 200 yards every time. The range wheel easy to quick to adjust your distance to target. Recommend yes

The optics are perfectly clear, the sniper is easy to instill, & it takes just a few minutes to dial it in. 3 inch circle at 100 yards, recommend this to every rifle owner. Great scope

Looks like very high quality, but also very sturdy. I have not yet used it, as my rifle is not yet finished. But I am very happy with the scope and the price. Also very nicely packaged!

This scope exceeded my expectations in every way. Optics are wonderful, and all the adjustable functions are as smooth as glass. Even the packaging was so nice I couldn't throw it away! Used it to store the old scope. Everything you need was included. My existing scope mounts worked so I got an extra Picatiny mounting system out of the deal. Love it!

Absolutely the best . I have it bore sighted and going to do final sight in tomorrow. Am going to find out just how good this scope is. If it does well I am going to enter a long range shoot in two weeks. Will really put it to the test then.

Went to the shooting range last sunday to zero it just use 3 to 5 ammo on my ar-15.we got it 4 shots on bullseye with a nice groupings.its so nice and clear.

The scope is great. The user manual, not so good. Under Illumination Setting, it says, "Turn ON: Press the illumination button" There is no illumination button. You turn it on by rotating the top disk where the battery was placed and select G 1 to 5 or R 1 to 5. Illumination is turned off when the disk is directly on G or R.

Great Scope have it mounted on a Savage Model III 25-06 and it holds true through all powers. I have used it from to 10 yards to 200 yards so far and POI stays true at any range and power. Great FFP scope if you are changing ranges quickly without having to calculate shot. Well Made and very clear and was very easy to zero on sight in. I love this scope.

Haven’t had the chance to mount it yet but it appears to be very clear and well made cosmetically.Like it’s overall appearance and will follow up asap.

looks great and was really easy to zero in , controls are easy to use , zero in after only 8 hits on the target , so glad i purchase it , heading out tomorrow for some more fun , zero in at 50 yds and going for 100 yds tomorrow , great scope .

Fantastic scope! I mounted it on a 7.62 x 39 AR Pistol and sighted it in. Took 3 groups, but on third group put 3 rounds touching a dot the size of a pencil. Actually bought this for another rifle, but will purchase another one for it when I buy it.

Sighted in a A R 10 I have put together. The scope worked perfectly, I’ll be hanging at 300 yards until I get the barrel broke in. So far so good, it will take a while to see if it all hang together, but right now I’m very pleased with it.

did not have time to get at it yet, but need to get other scope mounts as the one provided will not work on my rifle, should get at it in the next 2 weeks, but i liked what i saw so far, seems to be a good quality scope, will know more when i get to the range , will let you know vern

Quality scope at a reasonable price . Mounted on my 6.5 cm.

First of all the customer service is the best. I had questions and they answered less than 5 min. The scope came well packaged and feels well made. I have a few high end scopes and the glass on the sniper scope is just as clear if not clearer than my Nikons and Leupolds. I have it mounted on my 300win and bore sighted but haven’t been able sight it in yet. It looks good and feels really rugged. The turrets have clean audible clicks, the parallax wheel is awesome. It comes with really good caps and a sunshade, 2 batteries for the red and green illumination. You can’t go wrong with these scopes.

Well I put the scope on my rifle yesterday. I went to the range today three shots I was on dead center 0 + 50 took it out to 100 then I went to 400 then I went to 6 50 yard the scope he'll ride on. I shot 12 rounds at 650 yards and hit the target every time that's held up real well I love it Welbilt nicely designed I like it very much I put it on a Tikka rifle 6.5 Creedmoor. The scope held its own and stayed right on the target

Bought this scope 5 x 27 x 50 one year and five months ago on 1/22/21. Put it on my Ruger Precision 308. Sighted it in and have not touched the scope since. I do a lot of wild hog hunting and have taken a ton of hogs from 100 yards out to over 300 yards and this scope is dead on the money every time and crystal clear. I own Leopold scopes, Burris, Nikon and more and this Texas Precision Scope has become my favorite go to scope. I am retired and hunt sometimes five days a week. So this thing is tested. Only other thing I am going to do is start doing some long range shooting out to a thousand yards just for fun . I have no worries at all this scope will do the do ! Great scope, great people and very fast service.

Mounted on a Ruger Predator chambered for the 6.5 creedmore. Have not fired it yet but so far it seems to be a very impressive optical sight.

Mounted a ZT-5-27x50 to my old DPMS Oracle. Sited it in at 100 yds using a somewhat wobbly bi-pod from Magpul and a squeeze bag. After 1 minor adjustment at 100 yds, put 3 rounds within an inch of center. I love this scope! Turret caps are easy to use, and turret clicks are pretty good and highly accurate. I can't believe the quality of the glass and the reticle. Other manufacturers of low-end FFP scopes claim they have some distortion at the edges on high-end magnification. I don't see any in this scope. Crystal clear image, much better than advertised eye relief unless you are at top magnification, and the reticle is so finely etched that when you zoom out to lower end magnification, the vertical hash marks disappear. Of course, you hardly need to adjust for windage when shooting within 100 yds. The parallax adjustment is right on accurate and effective. The accessories that come with this scope are excellent. The cantilevered mount is very well made and rock solid. Lens covers are excellent as is the sun shield. I use the sun shade with the kill flash grid. Even looking almost directly at it, you still can't see the glass. The grid is absolutely invisible looking through the scope at any magnification, and the front lens cover fits right over it. This kit had everything I was looking for at an impressively low price of $319. I had been considering the entry level Vortex FFP being sold at $350 with no accessories and no reticle illumination. I bet this Sniper scope beats the Vortex hands down. I did go a little overboard on the magnification, but the ZT had exactly the Christmas tree reticle I was looking for, and even though I'm shooting .223/.556 which are not that effective at long range, this scope would take me out to 600 yds easy. But at easier distances 150+, I do like the fact that I can see the little holes right through the scope ;-) I expect to be within 3" at 300 yds with this scope just using a tripod and a squeeze bag. What else can you ask for? Clarity, brightness, ease of adjustments, eye relief, and accuracy....this scope is a real pleasure to use. This is the scope I'm going to buy for my .308.

Love the scope but, the rail pins that hold the scope on were not strong enough for My AR10. Will need to upgrade those.

Shot the first 20 rounds in this new build. So far so good. Its as clear as my Vortex 1-8x30

I ordered two and I have only got one mounted....on an ar 15....so it is a light recoil rifle but I really like it so far.......It zeroed easily and shot right on when I raised the reticle to shoot at 400 yards...then went back down correctly......I also like the adjustment and method of setting it to zero....over all I would recommend it to anyone......I already have some quality scopes on my heavy guns so I cannot answer as to the durability in that scenario

My brother-in-law purchased this scope (Sniper ZT 5-27x50) about 4-months ago for his AR-15 (I thought). Helped him sight it in and explained how to use. Found out he actually purchased it for me for my Birthday! So, I put it on my Springfield M1-A. Best optics I’ve ever had - no kidding. (My rifle HAD a Leo-old on it). Now, I want to put a TPO on my AR-15 - just have to save a little more $$ first... TPO ROCKS!!!

Love the look. I'll update when I get a chance to shoot with the thing. The reason I've knocked a star off, however, is because the packaging/shipping and pre-assembly was subpar at best. The box containing my $300+ scope was shipped with a single thin layer of bubble wrap on two of it's six sides. It also had the rings unevenly screwed on and pre-adhered to the tube. The manual was also severely out-of-date and failed to keep me from possibly messing up my zoom adjustment. Seems like a great product... Shame they don't appear to treat it like that. I just hope none of this apparent apathy and ignorance has compromised the quality or longevity of my hard-earned brand new glass.

I'm not into cold weather anymore, so as soon as it's up to my kind of temps, we're heading out the range and check them out.. Got 2 now, was so impressed with the first one even before it was ever mounted, I had to have another one. One is on a Savage Mod 12 bull bbl in a 22.250 cal and the other is also a 22.250 on a Winchester Mod 70 pre 64. Really can't wait to see if they live up to all the hype, but I'm sure the quality will prove they do what is advertised. That old (have had it for 58 years) Mod 70 has always been a tack driver, but never really had a scope I liked until now. Soon proof of the pudd'n and pictures to follow............... Dave

I ordered the 5-27 50 scope for a budget 6.5 Creedmore build. Being a budget build, I did not want to spend a lot on a scope, so I decided to take a chance with Texas Precision Optics based on all the good reviews. What a great scope! When you open it, the first thing you notice is the outstanding packaging. The scope has bright, clear focus edge to edge, nice positive click on the turrets. Don’t let the price fool you... I’d put this scope up against any scope twice the price!

I have 1 on an AR10-308, WORKS GREAT, JUST bought another one for an AR15-24".

Quickly got on paper with my 17 hornet only was setup to zero at 100 yards, the Hornet should be zeroed at 200 yards but within a dozen rounds I was hitting the 6" square steel out at the 300 yards. Optics are very clear, an amazing scope for this price point.

A beautiful scope. I can't wait to take it to the range, but this morning it was a minus 22 degrees at 0900 here in northern Colorado, and I don't think there's any shooter who is brave enough to try and zero in at these temperatures. Wait until about March and I'll give you a report. Really a beautiful piece of optics though........ Dave

This scope is amazing. Being set up correctly ans using the app this scope brought my wifes elk in perfect view at 1335 yards. The elevation of correct clicks gave her the perfect shot placement with one shot. I now own 2 of these and look to get a few more.

So easy to use. It has been amazing. Very clear. I love the illuminated reticle when i need it. And to have the choice of green or red on the fly is awesome. No fogging issues mine gets bumped around in the buggy and is still shooting dead on.

Did not know scope came with mount so ordered one. Neither would work on a Howa rail. However solved the issue with a pair of Vortex med. 30mm rings. Am greatly greatly impressed with scope at this point. Glad I caught You add. Keep on keeping on!

Ordered the ZT5-27X50 and was very pleased, followed it up with the ST 1-4X28 Both great scopes for the money! The ZT5 is comparable to much higher end scopes I use on my long range match guns, great for hunting, fast setting, holds target well! I got two 3" groups of 5 out of it at 300 yrs, will stretch it out more in the coming weeks.
