I bought an AR15 pistol upper from a vendor and to my dismay, the handguard was way too wide for my hands. We all know the messed up rule that says one cannot add a vertical foregrip without the pistol being reclassified as an AOW (any other weapon) subject to NFA rules. Who needs that? I could not find anything suitable on the OEM website and an Internet search only came back with way overpriced handguards. Texas Precision Optics had a very suitable one in the right size for an amazing fair price. We love Texas!

Won't install tight against reciever because of where holes are drilled to attach to barrel nut. Leaves a gap. Top of rail is lower than reciever rail also. Not going to use it.
